The Bates Motel and Haunted Hayride is Located at 1835 North Middletown Road, Glen Mills, PA. It consists of 3 attractions: A Haunted Hayride, The Bates Motel and the Haunted Corn Maze.
When you enter the hayride wagon, it seems benign enough. But, when the ominous soundtrack begins to play and your tractor-pulled wagon rounds the first corner to reveal the looming façade of a torch lit castle with its gaping mouth entrance, you know this is no ordinary hayride. This is one of the great haunted attractions in the United States. You will be, at times, astonished and startled as you traverse the gruesomely grandiose grounds of the Bates Motel and Hayride. Be sure to check-in to this malevolent motel. But beware, you may never checkout!
Obviously, the Haunted Corn Maze Hayride will not be in full operation (the corn gets planted in June and hasn't grown yet) and the Haunted Hayride will be a static show as it can only be fully ramped up in the summer. However all the other parts of The Bates Motel will be in full operation and will be revamped for the National Haunters Convention.
